Meet Jackson! He is soooo cute! Although, he gave us our toughest session to date as he did not want to sleep! Hopefully he made up for it during the night and gave his new mom and dad a few good hours of rest. Speaking of Jackson’s parents, his mom, Bethany, used to babysit me and my siblings when we were babies, and my mom used to babysit her brother when he was a baby. I feel the strong urge to babysit Jackson just so I can keep this unofficial tradition going for another generation. Well, until that day comes, I am quite happy that I got to spend the day with him and capture him at such a young, tiny, and fleeting stage in his life. He is adorable and absolutely perfect in every way possible! Enjoy!
Many of the hats and blankets used in this session were handmade gifts from family and friends that Bethany received at her baby shower. The blanket used in the bucket photo below was made by Bethany’s grandmother before she passed away 13 years ago. How special! It took some work getting Jackson posed with it, but it was worth it! I’m so glad we were able to make it work!
