Rachael and Greg were married this past Friday at The Great Hall on Perry Highway. They were some of the first people to book me when I started offering weddings and I have been looking forward to this for what seems like forever! I knew as soon as we did their engagement shoot last year that this was going to be a really fun wedding! It was very clear to me right off the bat that Rachael and Greg are best friends. You can even see it online in what they share with each other on Facebook. This may sound weird, but it’s not the super mooshy lovely dovey stuff that some couples do. Rather, it’s a post about something that interests them both or about something they do together. It’s not for show, it’s because they really just complete each other.
Not only are Rachael and Greg really fun, we were also treated to the most entertaining dancing we have every seen at a wedding by two of their guests. In fact, the whole crowd was great. And to top things off, because the wedding didn’t start until 6, we did the bride and groom session from about 6:30-7:30pm in a nearby park, which made for the most absolute perfect and soft lighting that you don’t typically get with normal mid-day wedding photos. Here are some of my favorites from their day. Enjoy!
Rachael was a super gorgeous bride and was completely willing to lay in the grass even though it had rained almost the whole day leading up to the ceremony. She looks so beautiful, it was totally worth it!Even though it had stopped raining by this time, Rachael got this really awesome umbrella off of e-bay and we could not pass up the opportunity to use it. I loved so many photos from this series, I thought I’d post a bunch!
Congratulations, Rachael and Greg! It was a great day!
