Meet Elijah! His mom contacted me a few months ago to schedule some holiday photos and we were able to work a little mini-session onto the calendar. Normally, I stick mostly to newborn photography, but sometimes it’s nice to step outside the box (in this case, a giant Christmas present box, haha) and do something a little different. So, when Kristen told me that her son was 8 years old and loved to be silly, I knew I made the right decision in saying yes to the session! And, Elijah did NOT dissapoint! He was such a sweet boy- giving his mom hugs in between shots; it melted my heart a little bit- I hope my son, Brayden, is like that when he is 8 years old! Not to mention that by the end of our little mini-shoot Elijah was even trying to think of new things to do so we could keep photographing. I love that he was having fun, even with the colder temps! This is my last session until after the holidays (pending any early arrivals from my late December and early January newborn due dates) and it was such a great way to end the season! Thanks, Kristen and Elijah! Enjoy your photos!
We were playing a little Simon Says and he snuck a peak in mom’s direction to make sure she was watching our game.Don’t let him fool you with the first photo, he was having fun! See?A visual representation of how I am feeling about the fast-approaching holiday. Am I the only one who is behind on the preparations? And by behind, I mean, haven’t started at all?I feel like this first one could be a senior photo. Hard to believe he is only 8 years old! Then, he reminds us that he is just 8 with the second photo 🙂One for the Christmas card! Thanks for an awesome session! Merry Christmas!
